FTS 508 Vertical Fixing System for Volumetric Extruded Ceramic Cladding

Technical concealed fixing system for volumetric extruded ceramic cladding, specifically designed for the vertical installation of ceramic pieces.

The FTS 508 system consists of a substructure made up of vertical and horizontal aluminium rails, onto which the ceramic pieces are installed using 25 mm-wide clips. The clips are secured to the horizontal profile through slotted holes, allowing them to accommodate the cross-section of the ceramic piece while maintaining a fully concealed fixing.

This system was used in the Campanar project, providing a specific solution for façade designs featuring vertically arranged volumetric extruded ceramic pieces.

How is the FTS 508 fixing system installed?

The FTS 508 substructure consists of a vertical rail system, fixed to the supporting structure using the corresponding brackets, onto which a horizontal aluminium rail system is installed.

The ceramic pieces are secured using 25 mm-wide clips, which are attached to the horizontal profile through their slotted holes. These clips grip the cross-section of the ceramic piece, providing a concealed fixing and allowing the pieces to be installed vertically.

A purpose-designed solution for vertical installation

The FTS 508 has been developed to meet the requirements of projects featuring volumetric extruded ceramic cladding installed in a vertical arrangement.

Although it shares with the FTS 505 the possibility of vertical installation, the FTS 508 uses a different fixing system. In the FTS 505, the clips are inserted laterally once the ceramic piece has been positioned, whereas in the FTS 508, the pieces are secured using 25 mm-wide clips attached to the horizontal rail through slotted holes.
