Medical center in Illueca
A functional building which also does hold a unique and singular design. FAVEKER® GA16 ceramic tiles of its thermal insulation guarantee technical performance as well as provide the building with its final visual appearance. The volumes are perfectly defined thanks to its metal finish, with a chameleon effect depending on the incidence of light. The FTS 502A system, which has obtained ETA certificate, was used and it includes continuous horizontal profiles on vertical stanchions, keeping the necessary chamber and allowing to misalign vertical joints. This thermal isolation with a porcelain ceramic skin with water absorption level below 0,5% can save up to 40% of the building’s primary demand, being simultaneously sustainable, since it is 100% recyclable and contains up to 46% of recycled material in its composition. The overlap joint of pieces protects the convection chamber from the entry of water, avoiding moisture and its consequences.
